Who we are

EMBER Hijama & Wellness provides private mobile Hijama and cupping therapy across the Northwest of England. You can contact us at bookings@emberhijama.co.uk.

What we collect

When you submit a booking enquiry we collect your name, phone number, email address (optional), address or postcode, preferred appointment details, and any notes you choose to share — which may include information about pre-existing health conditions relevant to your treatment.

How we use your information

Your details are used only to respond to your enquiry, assess suitability for treatment through consultation, and arrange your appointment. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing.

Where your information goes

Enquiry submissions are processed by two services acting on our behalf: Formspree (which delivers your enquiry to us by email) and Supabase (a secure database where enquiries are stored so we can manage bookings). Both act as data processors for your enquiry. Review submissions are stored in Supabase and only published after manual approval.

Health information

Any health notes you share are treated as confidential and used solely to assess suitability for Hijama. Suitability is always assessed through consultation. Ember Hijama does not provide emergency medical care — please seek medical advice from a qualified healthcare professional where appropriate.

Reviews

Published reviews show only a first name or initials. We do not publish contact details, addresses or private health information in reviews.

Retention and your rights

Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to manage your booking and reasonable follow-up. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by emailing bookings@emberhijama.co.uk.

Our wellness products are natural products intended to support a balanced lifestyle. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
